Bugzilla From Testlink

 

Configuration

Forge Side/Bugzilla Side

 

Authorize queries in the database server at the forge (postgres) this configuration would be made in the following file:

/etc/postgresql/8.4/main/postgresql.conf

 

add the following line:

listen_address='*'

 

And modify the following file :

/etc/postgresql/8.4/main/pg_hba.conf

 

add the following line:

host     all         all         xx.xx.xx.xx/32      trust
# xx.xx.xx.xx is the address of testlink server

 

restart postgres:

$ sudo /etc/init.d/postgresql-8.4 restart

 

testlink side

Install the package php5-pgsql

#apt-get install php5-pgsql

 

Edit file /var/www/1.8.5/cfg/bugzilla.cfg.php in testlink server and change lines configuration like :

/** DB host to use when connecting to the Bugzilla db */
define('BUG_TRACK_DB_HOST', 'forge-wissem.domain');
/** name of the database that contains the Bugzilla tables */
define('BUG_TRACK_DB_NAME', 'bugzilla');

define('BUG_TRACK_DB_CHARSET', );
/** useful if you have several schemas see BUGID 1444*/
define('BUG_TRACK_DB_SCHEMA', 'public');
/** DB type used for the bugtracking db */
define('BUG_TRACK_DB_TYPE','postgres8');
/** DB user and password to use for connecting to the Bugzilla db */
define('BUG_TRACK_DB_USER', 'bugzilla_user');
define('BUG_TRACK_DB_PASS', 'bugzilla_user');
/** link of the web server */
define('BUG_TRACK_HREF', "http://forge-wissem.domain/bugzilla3-4/show_bug.cgi?id=");
/** link to the bugtracking system, for entering new bugs */
define('BUG_TRACK_ENTER_BUG_HREF',"http://forge-wissem.domain/bugzilla3-4/");


Edit file /var/www/1.8.5/custom_config.inc.php and change the following line :

$g_interface_bugs='BUGZILLA';

 

Link to several bugzilla

Testlink doesn't offer the feature of linking failed tests to several bugzilla depending on the project (the project a in testlink refers to bugzilla b). possible workarounds :

- Each forge has its own testlink instance in a separate server machine

- All testlink instances reside in a single server machine with different databases and urls

- Each forge has its own testlink instance in the same server machine
